Volunteer: Help Center Shifts -- Location: 6800 P StThank you for volunteering at the Help Center! This is where our donations get organized and given out to the homeless and impoverished in Lincoln. Here you would be either helping putting out donations, checking people out at the exit, organizing, or a variety of other different tasks! Instructions for your shift at the Help Center: We are located on 6800 P St. Park in the front of the building (south side). There will be a door that says “Staff and Volunteer Entrance” please make sure to come in through this door. Once you enter in please make sure to sign in using the volunteer kiosk. Once done with your volunteering DON’T forget to sign out! For safety reasons, volunteers must wear close-toed shoes, shirts with sleeves, and long pants, or shorts that are to the knees. No crop tops. Upon arrival, a staff member will help assist you with your volunteering task.If you are between the age of 13-15 you must have an adult present with you while volunteering. If you are 16+ you are allowed to volunteer as an individual. If you are volunteering on Saturday or Sunday, please park on the north side of East Park Cinema towards the center of the parking lot and not the edges.
