Thank you for choosing to volunteer with us! As a volunteer, please read the below information to ensure you are prepared for your shift, and understand the policies we have in place for volunteers.
Volunteer Policy
Volunteer Shifts:
- We do not allow any walk-in volunteers. Please schedule using our online platform. If you have any issues scheduling, please reach out to our Volunteer Services Director, Josh Burkey jburkey@pcmlincoln.org 402-475-1303 ext 114
- If you are unable to make it to a shift, please unregister for that shift. We rely heavily on volunteers for our services, and when we know who is coming, that makes a huge difference. Others can fill in your spot when you unregister for a shift you are unable to attend.
- Please check in and check out using our volunteer kiosk for every shift.
Volunteer Hours:
- You must check-in and check-out of our volunteer kiosk for your hours to be verified. The website allows you to put in your own hours on the site, but those hours will not be accepted. The only hours that will be accepted are the ones that are done through checking in and out of our volunteer kiosk.
- Please make sure to check-in and out for every shift.
Dress code:
- For safety reasons, volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes, shirts with sleeves (t-shirt or long sleeve), and long pants, or shorts that are to the knees. No crop tops.
Photos:
- Please do not take any photos without consent from a staff member. We work hard to protect the privacy of our guest living with us, and using our services.
